12TH SUNDAY OF LUKE
Sunday, January 15th, 2023
Dearest Parishioners, and Friends,
The greatest message for this New Year of 2023 is keeping the faith, each year as we go along in God’s mercy. To make a true, heartfelt New Year’s Resolution, simply look back on 2022 and see what you can do better, how you can improve your lives, and how you can come closer to God. And first is gratitude.
With this New Year, the slow process of full recovery begins for all of us on so many levels, both social and personal. We are struggling out of the pandemic. Our society and economy are struggling to come back and regain health. So many of us are struggling to come back to health. And to catch up on so many bills, expenses. We are looking forward to a true Anastasi.
I begin 2023 with gratitude, and wish you the same. May you take this New Year and realise your true priorities. Find what you are thankful for. When you have your health and true focus, you may lose your private agendas. When you let God in, you make your hearts whole again. You have to open your arms to let yourselves be embraced.
Faithfully, Father Samaras

The Epistle 29th Sunday
O Lord, save Your people, and bless Your inheritance.
To You, O Lord, I cry; O my God.
The reading is from Saint Paul's Letter to the Colossians 3:4-11
Brethren, when Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
On account of these the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience. In these you once walked, when you lived in them.
But now put them all away; anger, wrath, malice, slander, and foul talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old nature with its practices and have put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all, and in all.
The Gospel 12th Sunday of Luke
The reading is from the holy Gospel according to Saint Luke 17:12-19
At that time, as Jesus entered a village, He was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices and said: "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." When He saw them He said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed.
Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; and he fell on his face at Jesus's feet, giving Him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. Then said Jesus: "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" And He said to him: "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well."
The Apostle Sunday of the Week
So, O Lord, thy people and because of thy inheritance.
Before thee, O Lord, I cry, my God.
Before Kolasaeus, Faith Paul 3:4-11
Brothers, when Christ was manifested, our life was manifested, then we also manifested yourselves in glory. You have killed the members of the sons, fornication, purity, passion, desire for evil, and greed in the midst of idol worship, because of the coming of God's work from the son of godliness; Now thou shalt not lay down and we shall always do so, anger, anger, wickedness, blasphemy, and the shame of our mouths; you lie to others, by relying to the old man in his deeds, and we are dying up the young people who have been renewed, who have been born in the knowledge of the people who have been built by him, who have been circumcised and circumcised, barbarian, Scythian, doῦlos, free, but always and always christ.
The Evangelion Sunday XII of Luke
In the words of Luke the Holy Angel q. 12 - 19
In this day and age, when Jesus came to us, ten lepers of men came to us, and they shouted at them; Jesus believed, have mercy on us. and he was not one of them; You have shown this to be the priesthood. and it came to pass that they were cleansed. He did not know that he had turned away with a cry of great praise to God, and had fallen from his face in the presence of his feet in thanksgiving; and a Samaritan. he answered jesus; The ten were cleansed? oἱ δὲ ἐννοῦ? Have they returned to the glory of God in the future? and he is not there; Ἀνας ἀςς; thy faith is thee.
