Recipient of Davis UWC Scholarship, Pritzker grant, Hudson fellowship, Tecolote fellowship.  Will pursue employment opportunities in New Mexico.
   
  Alexandra Anghel, University of New Mexico, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. She will continue in the finance field, working with Cetera as a Student Intern and plans on obtaining her securities registration.

• Birthday/Anniversary Blessing today. If you had a birthday or anniversary in May or June and would like a blessing, please come forward when Father announces it at the end of Liturgy. 
• Parish cleaning day, Saturday July 11th at 10:00am. 

• Feast day - Feast day community event July 19th 10am - 3pm. Buy tickets early for discount. See attachment at bottom of bulletin or on website under “Events” for more info. Volunteer list is posted in the kitchen for anyone who wants to help.

• Financial note: our latest financial summary though the month of May is found as an attachment at the bottom of the bulletin. 

• Beginning Sunday June 7th, Father will be doing a once a month blessing for all birthdays and anniversaries for the prior month. If you would like to be celebrated and blessed please attend the first Sunday of the month after your celebration month and come forward, if you choose, when Father calls for those being blessed at the end of church.

• Donations for coffee hour after liturgy are always welcome. If you are interested you can bring a dish to share after church or make a monetary donation by leaving in the candle box in narthex and noting on your check : “for breakfast items/supplies."

*Note from the fundraising committee: 

Please visit the display in coffee room for what we are calling our “Gap Fund.” Last year at general assembly we talked about the gap we continue to have between expenses and stewardship. This gap varies at any point in the year. Suggested on the display is the weekly amount that is required to make up the average gap.  If you choose to give to this effort in any amount it is meant to be in addition to your stewardship not in replacement otherwise we won’t be making up the gap. Please turn checks in either to the candle box in narthex or when the tray is passed at end of liturgy. Very important - in the memo of your check write “Gap Fund”

*There are commemoration slips in the narthex. If you would like to submit names to Fr. Seraphim for prayer (ie: during the Proskomide, during the litanties at the end of Orthros, during Liturgy, at Paraklesis, etc), please fill out a slip for the living or departed and give to one of the Parish Council members to bring to the altar.
