Fellowship Hour
Today's Fellowship Hour is hosted by the Smirnioudis family in honor of Andonios's churching.
Many Thanks
A big Thank You to Genie Dakopoulos for donating the Palm Sunday Fish Dinner in memory of her parents, Basile and Evanthia Hadges.
RESET Meeting Today
There is a meeting of the RESET Strategic Planning Team today immediately after Liturgy. Please stay in the Church. We hope all of you can be there!
The Doukas and Theopoula Tsaros Scholarships
It's that time of year again for our graduating high school seniors to apply for our parish's Doukas and Tsaros Scholarship. If you are a graduating senior or already in college and have not received the scholarship, please see a Council Member to get information and an application form.
The St. Paisios Prayer Warriors
Since prayer is a vital part both of parish life and the discipline of Lent, we are going to revive our St. Paisios Prayer Warriors. If anyone is interested in being a part of this prayer ministry please let Father know. We have already begun praying for one another, for our parish family and for the world. If you have anyone you would like to have prayers for, please let Father know (no need for any details, just the first name!)
Plan to Come!
Presbytera Dr. Jeannie Constantinou (author of Thinking Orthodox and The Crucifixiion of the King of Glory) will be giving a series of talks on Thinking Orthodox: Ancient Answers to Modern Questions on Saturday, May 3 at the St Methodios Retreat Center at our Metropolis Camp in Contoocook. There will simultaneously be events for our GOYAns and Young Adults, as well as one of the sessions geared especially for them. The time is almost here! If you haven't registered yet, please do so as soon as possible.
Please note that Liturgy on Sunday, May 4, will be at the Camp Chapel in Contoocook. There will be a brunch served in the Cafeteria after Liturgy; the camp is asking for $17 per adult for the brunch.
Come to the Sock Hop for the Young and Young at Heart
On Saturday, May 17, from 5-9 pm come and enjoy some nostalgia at the Sock Hop, sponsored by the Outreach Ministry. Enjoy dancing to American and Greek music from the 50's and 60's; you can even dress like would have, or think you would have, then! There will be dinner with soda fountain fare (hamburger and hot dog buffet and Floats and Sundaes). Entrance is $20 per person / $50 for a family (if the entrance is prohibitive, please see Presbytera; we want everyone to come!). Be there or be square!
On-Line Monthly Bulletin
We are transitioning to mainly distributing our Monthly Bulletin on line. If you would like a print copy and do not have a printer of your own, there will be bulletins to pick up in the Church Hall. If you know of anyone who would like a print copy and cannot come to church to pick it up, please let Father know so we can mail a copy.
