Church Etiquette: You will find a blue card in each pew, provided by the Parish Council, outlining basic church etiquette. We kindly ask that you review these guidelines as we strive to foster a safe, prayerful, and spiritually enriching environment for everyone.

Save the Date: On Sunday October 11th, during Coffee Hour, we will have a General Assembly down stairs. The Parish Council will lead us in the single topic on the agenda: Church Facilities Growth Plan. Please be sure to attend this important meeting.

Intro to Orthodoxy Class: If you would like to know more about the Orthodox faith- this class is for you! We will meet on Wednesdays at 6:00pm for an evening prayer service followed by the class at 7:00pm. The next class will be held Sept 30th. Child-care for ages 6-12 is provided. Greek Festival Dolmades Preparations: Save the dates! We need stem cutters, scoopers, and rollers. Don’t know what to do? We will teach you! It is always a fun time to spend together as we prepare for our upcoming Greek Festival! Don’t forget your hat and apron. Stay for an hour or all day. Young Adult League: We want to start up a YAL Ministry. Fr Thomas is looking for a President and Vice President of YAL. YAL is for ages 18-40. Responsibilities include helping Fr Thomas organize monthly or quarterly fellowship opportunities, social gatherings, retreats, etc. Please see Fr. Thomas if you are interested in helping lead this ministry.

HOPE & JOY: We want to start up a HOPE & JOY Ministry. Fr Thomas is looking for a parent or two who can help assist in organizing monthly or quarterly outings, gatherings, activities, etc. Please see Fr. Thomas if you are interested in helping lead this ministry. HOPE is for children ages very young through 2nd grade. JOY is for children ages 3rd - 6th grade

Greek Fest Raffle Ticket Sales are sad! Our Raffle Ticket sales are not great. If you buy one, your chances of winning a prize are super high since we have not even sold 10 yet! Please share with your friends and family. Tickets cost only $25 & the winner will be selected on Nov 8. You do not need to be present to win. Please see Olga Plomarity downstairs to pick up your raffle tickets today. We need enough revenue to break even on the prizes at least. Please help us!

Bible Study: Want to learn more about the Holy Scriptures? Hear what Fr. Thomas has to share about context & historical interpretations of the Bible. The Bible studies will be held on Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00pm. Refreshments will be provided.

Poster Contest: Calling all Greek Orthodox children ages 5-18! Submit your 8" × 10" artwork to honor our Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. Last day to submit: Oct 1. See Olga Plomarity for details.

St. Nicholas Bookstore: Come visit our bookstore downstairs! We have icons, prayer ropes, & gifts for the family.   We hope you find some treasures! 

Fellowship Hall Update: Downstairs you will find an improved and cleaner space for our Fellowship Hall. The Parish Council has worked hard in organizing, cleaning up the space, and hanging the curtains to make the environment more inviting. Please help us by monitoring your children closely and encouraging them not to play behind the curtains, or with the Greek Fest equipment. Please clean up your tables when you are ready to leave, etc. Thank you!

Coffee Hour Needs Help: We are in need of volunteers to host the Coffee Hour. A sign-up list with many open Sundays is located downstairs, posted on the side of the walk-in refrigerator. Hosting simply involves providing a few light snacks and staying afterward to assist Father Thomas with cleanup. The Parish Council greatlt appreciates your help!

Confession: Father Thomas will be available for confession each Saturday after the service of Great Vespers. There is no need to make an appointment. If you would like to schedule a time outside of Saturday evening for confession, please contact Fr. Thomas.
