WELCOME TO OUR VISITORS Whether you are new to Bangor or if you're just passing through -welcome! If you've come because you are curious about the Orthodox Church, its beliefs and worship, you are very welcome, too! Please don't hesitate to introduce yourself to someone you've never met and consider staying for some refreshments and fellowship after the morning service. SUNDAY SCHOOL meets in the fellowship hall right after Holy Communion is offered.  All ages 6+ are welcome. Mrs. Bucklin is ready to take our young people on an adventure through the Book of Acts. 

MEMORY ETERNAL!  A 40 Day Memorial service will be prayed fthis morning for the servant of God, Electra, Lee's mother.  The Speronis family will host this morning's fellowship hour in Electra's memory.  God grant His servant, Electra, eternal memory and a paradisiacal repose!

THE PASSING OF A HOLY HIERARCH  Archbishop Anastasios of Albania was recently called home by God at age 95. HOLY WATER AND HOUSE BLESSINGS  You can bring a bottle from home to fill with Holy Water from the Feast of Holy Theophany and take it back home with you.  Also, Fr. is available to do house blessings this month.  If you'd like him to bring the holy water blessing to your home, please contact him directly to set up a time.

PRAYER REQUESTS  Please keep Presbytera posted so she can keep our community current on any changes to this list (doxa141atgmaildotcom).  If you're doing better, we want to know.  If there are complications or healing is simply slow, we'd like to know that, too.  Prayer changes things--let us support one another.  Cathy S appreciates prayer support as she seeks and tries alternative ways to help her body heal from a long-term affliction.  Pray that God lead her to a modality that will work well for her. We hope to hear soon that Dr. Dave has had a good result from the time he has spent endeavoring to recover from surgery to repair his broken ankle.  God give him strength and patience as he manages his health challenges.  Please keep remembering in prayer Dr. Allison's mom, Paula, who is managing a serious health condition. Also, Mona's dad, Fr. Anthony, a priest in Pakistan is out of the hospital and recovering at home.  His recovery may take awhile. Please keep remembering two Orthodox sisters in Christ still recovering from strokes (slow, but sure), Panagiota (Jaye) and Seraphima (Linnea).  Pat E continues to thank everyone who prays for her as she copes with impaired eyesight.  Again, your prayers for these these brothers and sisters in Christ are of great assistance.  

NEXT SUNDAY - RECEPTION OF CATECHUMENS FROM ROMAN CATHOLICISM
Next Sunday, Feb 2, the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord, we will receive Anita Rose, Vincent and Nicholas P. as members of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and Faith which is Eastern Orthodox.  Please keep them all in your prayers as well as Dhesorae, who is also a catechumen and seeking the Path to Salvation.  God bless and lead you, one and all!
