Healing and hope on the Sabbath...most certainly! It seems so eveident to us who follow Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ that healing and good works are not only permitted, but certainly encouraged by the example of the saints on any day amd at any time. How could one hesitate to come to our brother and sisters in need need who are hurting and forlorn. Particularly in the Nativity season as we fast in preperation of the Feast of the Incarnation (Christmas) and share gifts to celebrate the great gift of the birth the Savior. We are called to share our bounty - fiscal, time, prayers - with those less fortunate then ourselves. Our parish family is so generous, may we continue along this path of joy and hope. Glory to God!
