We welcome all to our fellowship hour following services this morning. As our monthly "Family Sunday," we are grateful to the Alexander the Great Society of our parish for providing a light luncheon in place of our typical cofee hour.
We are also grateful to the family of Nathan Karras for sponsoring our weekly fellowship hours in his memory! If you would like to sponsor our weekly fellowship hour, please contact the Parish Office.

We observe the Festical of Lights through next Sunday.

2024 Stewardship Pledge Drive
We thank those who have submitted their 2024 Pledge Forms already, and we pray the remainder of our faithful will do so as soon as possible. Pledge forms were sent by mail to parishioner households, but if you did not receive one or are in need, they are available today in the Narthex, in our weekly email bulleting, or you may have one sent to you from the Parish Office.
2024 Adult Religious Education Program: Living Worship, the Orthodox Way
Beginning January 18, Thursday at 7:00 p.m., this seminar extending weekly until March 7 focuses on our liturgical tradition and why we worship in the manner we do as Orthodox Christians. For more information and registration, see our website or weekly emails.
Donating in Time of Need
Next Week we begin our annual Souper Bowl of Caring drive, through February 11. Donations of canned and dried soups will be appreciated as we participate in this national program.
We are always accepting non-perishable foods to assist those in need, and items may be dropped off in the Narthex (foyer) at services on Sunday and Feastdays. Likewise, our Philoptochos Ladies are seeking donations of coffee to assist the City Rescue Mission of Hammond, a local homeless shelter. Again, donations can be left in the Narthex or at the Parish Office during the week.
50th Wedding Anniversarty/85th Birthday
Remember our practice of honoring couples on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary or persons on their 85th birthday! If you know of a couple or person that is celebrating these blessed milestones, please inform us through the Parish Office or contact Father David directly.
Although we honor couples and persons once (and it may occur "after the fact" if not done at the time), we do make an exception for those reaching their 100th year as well!
Parish Email List:
If you have not been receiving our emails, please forward your email address to our Parish Office. The Sunday Parish Bulletin with all updates and activities will be sent to each email on our list on the evening of the Friday before. Submissions or requests for Parish-wide emails should be directed to Father David.
