THE SCOOP ON FESTIVAL FOOD PREP—Here are some firm dates for our festival food prep—mark your calendar and plan to come help. Mondays will be preparation for the assembly days which will be Tuesday through Friday.
- Week of June 10—Spinach and cheese pita

- Week of June 17—Pastitsio
Monday, June 17—Prepare filling, noodles and bechamel

NATIVITY SENIOR LUNCH THIS TUESDAY - All Nativity members age 50 or older are invited to come on the second Tuesday of the month for delicious food, fellowship and conversation. Our next meal is Tuesday, June 11 at noon. We hope to see you there!

VIGIL FOR THE LEAVTAKING OF PASCHA INTO HOLY ASCENSION - The Apodosis (Leavetaking) of Pascha is celebrated on Wednesday of the sixth week after Pascha. On this day ends the forty-day celebration of the Bright Resurrection of Christ. For the last time we greet each other with the words of Paschal joy, “Christ is Risen!” and prepare ourselves to greet the upcoming feast of the Lord’s Ascension. Join us at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12 for this special service of Great Vespers, Matins and Divine Liturgy.
MEALS FOR THE ZEMBYLES-HERNANDEZ FAMILY The Zembylas-Hernandez family welcomed their new baby on June 1st! Taylor is the main caregiver for all the little ones (and her mom), while her husband and her father work, so these meals would be most helpful. ATTENTION NATIVITY DANCERS In preparation for the Festival, Greek Dance Practices will take place TUESDAYS. All young people are invited to participate. Practices are scheduled for the following dates in the parish social hall.

August 6, 13, 20 (August 20 is an outdoor rehearsal)
