AUTUMN FIRES – THE MUSIC OF ROBERT ROGLER CHAMBER CONCERT – Saturday September 28th: Plan to attend and enjoy an evening of wonderful music listening to and experiencing "Autumn Fires – The Music of Robert Rogler Chamber Concert" which will take place on Saturday September 28, 2024 at 7pm at The Music Mansion, 88 Meeting Street, Providence, Rhode Island. Our parishioner Robert Rogler will be joined by musicians John Rogler on Violincello (also our parishioner), Matt Savage on Piano, and Lauren Florek, Soprano. ELEVATION OF THE HOLY CROSS & HAGIASMOS (WATER BLESSING) for COMMENCEMENT OF ECCLESIASTICAL and SCHOOL YEAR – Today Sunday September 15th: The service of the Elevation of the Holy Cross connected with the feast of the Holy Cross (September 14th) will be celebrated along with a service of the blessing of the waters for the beginning of the ecclesiastical and school year TODAY Sunday September 15th in Church.
CHOIR TO RESUME – Today Sunday September 15th: Our choir will resume singing TODAY Sunday September 15th after their summer break. We look forward to hearing their beautiful voices once again.
COFFEE HOURS TO RESUME – Today Sunday September 15th: Coffee hours will resume TODAY Sunday September 15th. Enjoy some coffee, snacks and fellowship after church in the Community Center.
GREEK SCHOOL REGISTRATION – Today Sunday September 15th: Greek School registration will begin TODAY Sunday September 15th after church in the Community Center. The 1st day of classes will be on Wednesday September 18th. Classes will be on Wednesdays & Thursdays.
SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION – Today Sunday September 15th: Sunday School registration will begin TODAY Sunday September 15th after church in the Community Center. The 1st day of classes will be Next Sunday September 22nd.
PHILOPTOCHOS SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE/FUNDRAISER: Philoptochos is sponsoring their annual school supplies drive/fundraiser. The items needed are as follows: backpacks, headphones, Crayola crayons, whiteboard markers, Sharpies, washable Crayola markers, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, Post-It notes, pencils, whiteboard erasers, Kleenex and paper towels. Please see Patti Panichas regarding monetary donations which would also be appreciated. Box is located in the Assumption Community Center.
