Every year on Saturday of Lazarus, April 12 this year, we have our retreat following church services.

We encourage all the parents to bring their children for a day full of knowledge and activities!

Easter Baking Goods

Easter is on April 20, 2025, this year, so place your orders early for our tasty Tsourekia and Koulourakia. We do not want to leave anyone without. 

All sales must be pre-ordered and paid. You can pick up your orders on Friday afternoon April 11, Saturday of Lazarus, April 12, from 10am to 2pm, and Palm Sunday, April 13, from 10am to 2pm.  If you have any questions, or want to place your order, please send us an email at [email protected] or call 562-773-1778.   

Due to the baking supplies price increases, we will only bake what is ordered. 

We have not increased our prices even though all baking supplies have doubled in cost. 

Tsourekia $15 each

Koulourakia $10 a dozen.

The Daughters of Penelope will host the Palm Sunday’s luncheon on Sunday, 4/13/25. Adults $35, Kids 12 and under are free.

Easter is not too far away! The bookstore has many wonderful gifts items for your religious needs. It will be open after Liturgy. Come and get your Greek Red Egg Dye now (limited supply). Holy Week hymn books are also available. During the week, it will be open by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We are in need of volunteers. Join Fr. Christos every Thursday morning from 11:00am - 12 noon at "Taso Papas" Board room (second floor) for “Bible Study”. This class is a great opportunity to learn more about the Orthodox Faith and scripture.

Please note that no Memorial Services are allowed on Palm Sunday 4/13, Easter Sunday 4/20 & Thomas Sunday 4/27.

Therefore we will have Memorial Service only on Sunday, April 6.
