Philoptochos Annual Membership Lunch
Saint Tatiana was the daughter of a most distinguished consul of Rome. She became a deaconess of the Church, and for her confession of the Faith of Christ, she endured many torments. As she was suffering, angels punished her tormentors with the same torments they inflicted on her, until they cried out that they could no longer endure the scourges invisibly brought upon them. She was beheaded during the reign of Alexander Severus (111-135).
Today we pray for the repose of the souls of the servants of God Dimitrios Haftoglou (3 years), Eleni Panayoti (32 years), Michael Kirollos (30years), Elizabeth Alexander (10 years).
May their memory be eternal.

Our annual Cutting of the Vasilopita will be on Sunday, January 12th. Once again, we are asking that you share your favorite Vasilopita with us that day. All proceeds for the cutting will be given to St. Basils Academy.

Join Fr. Christos every Thursday morning from 11:00am - 12 noon at "Taso Papas" Board room (second floor) for “Bible Study”. This class is a great opportunity to learn more about the Orthodox Faith and scripture.
Join Fr. Christo and learn how to prepare and bake the offering bread “Prosforo” that is used before the Divine Liturgy. Classes will be the following dates: Feb.21 & March 14. Meet in the Betty Reckas kitchen at 10 am
Father Christos will have Orthodox Catechism Class for everyone on the last Sunday of every month before Divine Liturgy in the Church from September – March 9:30-10:00 AM. The next class will be on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
