LB Greek Festival! How you can help

To our Assumption Family,

The Long Beach Greek Festival is a beloved community event that celebrates our faith, heritage and culture. However, we cannot continue this cherished tradition without your support. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated and will help defray the necessary expenses to make this festival possible. Your generosity ensures we can once again gather to share our unparalleled hospitality and filoxenia. BACKPACK DRIVE - Summer may be on its way but it is the perfect time to help with the Philoptochos Operation Classroom Project. Last year with your help we were able to donate $5,500 that provided over 200 back packs and supplies to Long Beach children in need. Check your mail as you will be receiving our request for donations soon. A $35 donation will help buy and fill a backpack with supplies for a child in need and also buy books for underprivileged children in Long Beach. All proceeds from this drive are given to various Long Beach philanthropic organizations that assist families in need.

Please note that all the Memorial services will be held on the FIRST and THIRD Sunday of the month. To schedule a memorial, please contact the church office.

The bookstore has many wonderful items & gifts for your religious needs. The bookstore will be open after Liturgy. During the week, it will be open by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact Zoe Falley at (714) 366-0001 or [email protected]

FESTIVAL TIME is just around the corner and Long Beach Festival is truly known for its authentic baked goods. What this means is, baking time is ahead. It is with your hands and heart that we are so successful. Join in the baking fun, learn new recipes and meet new people.

We start at 9 am and lunch will be served.
