The Divine Services for Epiphany, Monday, January 6, 2025 are as Follows
This Monday morning, January 6th - the Orthros/Preparatory Service will begin at 9:00 am with the Divine Liturgy to follow. After the celebration of the Divine Liturgy - The Blessing of the Waters will be offered.

46th Annual Epiphany Cross Dive & Luncheon
Is next Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, 1380 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, 92101. Stay for the luncheon and help us congratulate Jim and Angel Gilpin, this year’s recipients of the Leon Balaban Award. Seating is limited. Adults: $75 and Children Under 12: $35. Stewardship Year-End Reminder

During the holiday season, things can get a little hectic and distracting. Thus, as a kind reminder, we respectfully ask that if you have not made your 2025 stewardship pledge commitment we respectfully ask that you (and your family) prayerfully consider your stewardship pledge for 2025 today. The Cutting of the Vasilopita is this Sunday, January 5th
Our Philoptochos ladies will graciously provide the Vasilopita for our annual Cutting of the Vasilopita, in honor of St. Basil the Great and in support of St. Basil's Academy in New York and the youth and young adult programs throughout the Archdiocese and in all Metropolises. You may make a cash donation, or make checks payable to Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, when you receive your piece of Vasilopita at the conclusion of this Sunday's Divine Liturgy.
If you receive one of the blessed coins from the Vasilopita cutting, please notify the church office at 619-297-4165. Thank you!

Greek Dance and Choral School
Friday, 1/3: Pelagos dance practice from 7:00 - 8:30pm
Sunday, 1/5: Pelagos dance practice from 1:30 - 3:00 pm in the Church Hall.
All other dance groups are on Christmas break until the Sunday after the Epiphany luncheon.

Young at Heart Seniors
Happy New Year everyone! Please make plans for our next social gathering Tuesday, January 14, at 11 am. Eleni Petropoulous will lead us with gentle stretching exercises and after lunch we’ll play bingo. Women of the Word (WOW) Bible Study Group
