Festival Volunteers are Needed for June 8th and 9th
Only two weeks left to sign up (sdgreekfestival.com/volunteer) to volunteer for our Greek Festival weekend on Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th. We cannot do it without you! We are respectfully asking every family in the parish to volunteer for at least one shift. Just this one shift will make a huge difference!

Office Closed This Monday
The Church Office will be closed this Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 28th.
No Dance Practice Schedule for This Week
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, we will not have practice this Friday or Sunday.

Great GOYA Bake Off - Tomorrow, Saturday, May 25th at 12pm
Ready, Set, Bake! GOYA will meet in the St. Spyridon Kitchen to compete in their very own Bake Off! Youth grades 6-12 can join the competition. No prior baking experience needed. RSVP required, [email protected].

Final Greek Festival Meeting This Sunday
Please join us this Sunday, May 26th following the Divine Liturgy for our last general festival meeting before the big event which will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9.
The meeting is open to all and will be in the lower Education Building in the Hellenic Cultural Society conference room, so please invite a friend and join us as we discuss all the final preparations for our St. Spyridon's largest fundraiser of the year. Directions to Arrive at Church for Rock -n- Roll Marathon Sunday
Please use the following easy directions to get to church on Sunday, June 2nd.
Get to Highway 163 and drive Southbound on 163. Then, follow the signs for 5 South, and then exit onto Park Blvd.
At the stop sign turn left onto Park Blvd. and continue North on Park Blvd. Drive past the San Diego Zoo toward St. Spyridon. It's that easy!!!
2024 National YAL Conference - July 3-7th
Youth and Young Adult Ministries (Y2AM) is pleased to announce the 2024 National YAL Conference will be held July 3-7, 2024 at The Westin Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, California, graciously hosted by His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos and the Metropolis of San Francisco. Gather with young adults from across the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America for a five-day experience centered on faith, fellowship, worship, service, and fun.
Schedule highlights include captivating speakers and workshops, participation in select segments of the Clergy-Laity Congress, witnessing the renowned July 4th Fireworks Show, exploring the picturesque city of San Diego, a dinner boat cruise, and a "Diakonia" service project. Festivities will conclude on Sunday, July 7th with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros.
