FANARI CAMP REGISTRATION: The time has come to begin preparing our summer activities. What better way to continue enriching your child’s journey in faith the signing them up for Fanari Camp. Registration for camp begins Tues-day, March 7th at 12:00 p.m. at www.fanari.org It is for children going into 6th grade through 11th grade. It allows a wonderful opportunity for children to meet other Orthodox youth of our Metropolis and build life long friendships. Again this year Fanari will be held for 4 separate weeks. Session 1 will be June 18th-24th, session 2 will be June 25th-July 1dt, Session 3 will be July 9th-15th and Session 4 will be July 16th-22d. It is first come first serve for which session someone is able to get into. Fr. Christodoulos will be attending Fanari for a week this year as well. So let us sign up our children for a great faith filled week.
SUNDAY OF ORTHODOXY: Next Sunday is the celebration of the Sunday of Orthodoxy. Following the Liturgy on this day, a special litany will be chanted in our parish along with the procession of the Holy Icons. Our Sunday school children will be participating in the special service at the end of Liturgy. We en-courage all the parents to bring their children from the youngest to the oldest. Bring an Icon from home for your child to carry or we will have ones available as well. Let us all gather and worship to give praise and thanksgiving to God for the triumph of our faith over heresy and disbelief.
“PARADOSIS” ADULT GREEK DANCE TROUPE: Has begun and is meet-ing every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. & Open to all Adults College Age and Above, who are interested in learning a variety of Greek dances. This year we will be al-ternating practices between Saint Nicholas & Saint Spyridon. This week we will meet at Saint Nicholas. Please see the enclosed flyer for more details.
SAVE THE DATE: 90th Anniversary of Saint Nicholas Parish: St. Nicholas’ 90th Anniversary Dinner Dance is September 24th, 2017 at Tuscany Falls in Moke-na. It is easily located right off of I-80 and LaGrange. Very accessible from I-355, 294 and I-57.

WE NEED YOUR HELP: St. Nicholas’ parish is blessed with so many creative individuals with so many talents. We are searching for volunteers to bring their creativity to the table. The only way we can make the 90th Anniversary event memorable and successful is with the help of everyone.

KOULOMA DINNER: On Monday, February 27th our Ladies Philoptochos will be hosting the Koulouma dinner. It is traditional that on the first day of Lent ”Clean Monday” that we all gather following the Great Compline at 6:00 p.m. with a traditional fasting meal. The dinner should begin around 7:00 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults & $5 for children. Join for a beautiful night of prayer & fellowship.
SACRAMENT OF HOLY CONFESSION: As Great Lent begins tomorrow, we should all prepare for the Resurrection of Lord by partaking of the Sacrament of Holy Confession. Make an appointment with your Spiritual Father. For details, see Fr. Christodoulos. Times are available before and after most services.
