Veterans!
The Metropolis of Atlanta is gathering the names of all Orthodox veterans in our metropolis, both living and deceased. Living Veterans and their families will be invited to upcoming events honoring Veterans at the Diakonia Retreat Center. The names of the deceased veterans will be placed on a new Monument there to be erected in honor our veterans. Please fill out a veterans’ forms found at the candlestand or print it off HERE and return them to the Church office by Sunday July 24th. Prison Ministry Annual Paperback Dictionary Drive through July

GOYA Goes Hiking
We will be going HIKING to The Eno River Rock Quarry Swimming Hole on Saturday August 5th at 10:00 am. Please meet at the Cabe Lands & Quarry Trail Parking Lot (4957 Howe St. Durham NC 27705) at 10:00 am. Please pack the following: A packed Lunch, Water (at least 64 oz), A towel, A swimsuit, Bug spray, Sunblock. Please note, there are no bathrooms or facilities of any kind on this trail so please prepare beforehand. We will be going swimming if you would like to go. We will have lunch together and then hike back to our cars after a few hours.

Capital Campaign Investments Committee
The Parish Council has established an Investments Committee to advise the Parish Council on how best to grow and soundly invest the Capital Campaign funds. The committee members are: Greg Delage, Bob Lyford, Harry Kledaras, and George Pappas. If you would like to offer input, please contact one of these committee members.
LiveStreaming Liturgy via Roku in the Nursery!
In order to better accommodate the busy little lambs of our flock and their hard working parents, we have installed a 46 inch TV in our Nursery in the Sunday School wing so that parents can still participate in the service via our Livestream broadcast. Please ask the Parish council to direct you toward the nursery if you should need it.
36th Annual Greek Festival Baking and Cooking Schedule!
We will be baking over 6,000 delicious Koulourakia on Tuesday, July 18th and Wednesday, July 19th. We need MANY HANDS for this task! We would appreciate any help at 8:30 am to weigh dough. Please bring all your friends! All are welcome!

We had a very successful 2016 Festival because of YOU. Please help us in repeating that success this year by stopping by the Church Hall after Liturgy and sign up to help at one of the many booths. 36th Annual Greek Festival Program Advertisement & Sponsorship
For Greek Festival on September 8-10, we will have a Festival Program for all guests. The Program has many advertising and sponsorship options to help us reach our profits goals.
This is a great opportunity to advertise your business as our festival has up to 20,000 attendees. You can purchase space in our Program to honor a friend or family member, memorialize a departed loved one or just wish us a successful festival. We need your support. Sponsorship forms are available at the candle stand and a table in the fellowship hall with information on our advertising and sponsorship opportunities. The deadline for sponsorships and ads is July 24th so act now!
Greek School!
Greek School registration for 2017--2018 is underway! Classes meet on Sundays from noon to 1pm and are for all age groups, beginner to advanced. Please stop by the registration table in the fellowship hall for more information. Deadline to register is Sunday, August 27th. Classes will begin on Sunday, September 17th.
