Fellowship Hour
Fellowship Hour today is offered by Theopoula Tsaros and Tasoula Lillios in memory of their loved ones remembered at the Memorial service.Efcharistoume!
There are still plenty of Sundays to sign up for Fellowship Hour! This is an important ministry; our Fellowship Hour is the continuation of the ancient Christian practice of the Agape Meal or Love Feast celebrated in conjunction with the Liturgy. The Fellowship Hour offering should be simple; you can also team up with friends or family so that the burden is not so great for one person. Please take a look at the list and choose a Sunday!.
Forgiveness Sunday
Today, our last preparatory Sunday before the beginning of Great Lent, is dedicated to forgiveness. The Church has appointed the Vespers of Forgiveness as the service for the beginning of Great Lent. Because of the importance of this service for making a good beginning of Lent, we will celebrate an abridged version of the Vespers immediately after Liturgy on Sunday.
At the end of the Service, everyone comes forward and, after making a prostration or bow before each person, embraces the other and asks and receives forgiveness. Please make sure to come and make a good start for Lent.
Prayer Warriors
As you get your candles in the Narthex, make sure to put your first name on a card, fold it and put it in the basket provided. At the end of the Vespers of Forgiveness, make sure to take one of the cards. Pray for that person throughout Lent. There is no greater love than to spend time in prayer for others!
Orthodoxy on Tap
Our Orthodoxy on Tap group will be meeting today, Sunday, February 26, at 5:30 pm at the Barous' Family Restaurant. Come and enjoy good food, good parea, and good discussions.
Flowers for Lent
Would you like to donate flowers for our Lenten Services? We need flowers for the icon for three Salutation Services and for the Akathist Hymn. We also need flowers for the Annunciation for the Feastday. We are asking $40 for each icon. Please see Father or Barbara Kalioras to donate the flowers. Thanks!

Congratulations!
Our Laity Award recipient for 2017 is Chris Pappas! Many thanks, Chris, for your service to our Parish Family! Information about the Laity Awards Dinner will be coming in a few months!
Next Sunday, March 5, we will be honoring two of our scouts, Nate and Irene Dienes, with the Chi Rho Eastern Orthodox Scouting medal. They had a number of activities to complete to achieve this award, and we are very proud of their accomplishments!
Kali Parea Outing
We are happy to announce the revival of Kali Parea (Good Company)! Our first event will be a St. Patrick's Day Outing to the Intervale Pancake House, 931 Flanders Rd., Henniker NH (at the foot of Pat's Peak). We will have a personal tour and demonstration of their maple syrup process. The tour will start at 11:00 am and will be followed by brunch. If you don't drive, there will be plenty of car pooling opportunity. Participation is limited to 20; first come, first serve. Please call Maria Bryant at 224-7311 to sign up. Come for good company, good food, and interesting presentation!
Community Pot Luck Fellowship Hours
The Philoptochos Ladies are spearheading an wonderful community building event. On the third Sunday of the month (barring scheduled Memorial Services and other events), we are asking our Parish Family members to bring a dish for Fellowship Hour. That way many people can contribute toward this important ministry who may not otherwise be able to host a Fellowship Hour. The dish does not even need to be homemade--a plate of cheese and crackers or veggies and dip would also be great. As a Pot Luck there is no restriction on what to bring; so each Community Fellowship Hour will be a surprise. Also, everyone does not need to contribute to each one; just make something when you like.
There will also be a basket out for the Community Pot Lucks. The Philoptochos will use these generous donations towards purchasing something needed for the renovations of the Church.
Our next Community Pot Luck will be Sunday, March 19.
Orthodox Store
Are you in need of devotional items, like censers, incense, oil lamps, prayer ropes (koumboskinia)? Check out our new Holy Trinity Store. With time we will be expanding the available items and will even be including books to purchase. We are also establishing a lending library. Check out the store in the corner of the Hall by the Bulletin Board! Please put the money in the basket; we are using the honor method. Make checks payable to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
